Chester W. Pezley, 70, of 8920 West 12th Street, Juniata, Nebraska died Sunday, January 6, 2008 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings, Nebraska.

Memorial service will be Friday, January 11, 2008; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Alan Davis officiating. Book signing Thursday, January 10, 2008; 9A.M. -5P.M., Friday, January 11, 2008; 9A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to family’s choice. .

Mr. Pezley was born September 2, 1937 in Montrose, Iowa to Harrison & Dorothy (Brown) Pezley. He graduated from Montrose High School. He lived in the Hastings area since 1970. He married Ruth M. (Dangler) Behrends on June 16, 1978 in Montrose. He was printing supervisor at Gibraltar Packaging Company in Hastings, Nebraska for 33 years before retiring.

Mr. Pezley was preceded in death by his father.
