Former area resident, Lonnie Lee Lisius, 38, of Lincoln, Nebraska, died Monday, October 9, 2006 at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Services will be Friday, October 13, 2006; 10:30 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church, rural Juniata, with Rev. Greg Volzke officiating. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery, rural Juniata, Nebraska. Memorials to Christ Lutheran School. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 11, 2006; 5pm-9pm, Thursday, October 12, 2006; 9am-9pm at BVFH with family present 6pm-8pm & Friday, October 13, 2006; 1 hr. prior to service a the church.

Mr. Lisius was born December 3, 1967 in Omaha, Nebraska to Milton L. & Velma M. (Kleier) Lisius. He attended Christ Luther School from kindergarten to 8th grade and graduated from Adams Central High School in 1986. He attended University of Nebraska, in Kearney. He worked for Marshalltown Instruments, Armour, Nebraska State Patrol Training Center and was a truck driver. He was a member or Christ Lutheran Church.
