Hastings resident, Jared Ryan DeMuth, 19, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011 due to an automobile accident, at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Thursday, September 1, 2011; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Rev. Steven Peeler officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 31, 2011; 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with family present, and one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Crossroads Center Rescue Mission of Hastings.

Jared was born August 7, 1992 in Hastings, Nebraska to Jerry R. DeMuth and Rebecca (Loudon) Woodyard. He volunteered at Crossroads Center Rescue Mission in Hastings. Jared enjoyed spending time with his friends, fishing, camping, riding his four wheeler by the creek, and playing video games.

Jared was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph & Lois DeMuth; and maternal great-grandparents, Don & Helen Loudon.
