Hastings resident, Gloria Faye Hinson, 66, died Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Thursday, January 5, 2012; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings, Nebraska with Pastor Norman Jelken officiating. Burial will be in the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Hildreth, Nebraska, Thursday at 1:30 P.M. Book signing will be Tuesday the 3rd and Wednesday the 4th 9 A.M. until 5 P.M. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or Salvation Army.

Gloria was born August 9, 1945 at Minden, Nebraska to Henry John & Jennie (Bunger) Loschen. She was raised in Hildreth and graduated from Hildreth High School. She married Joe Hinson on March 2, 1968. She moved to Hastings from Memphis, Tennessee and owned and operated the Back Rib Restaurant for 19 years.

Gloria Faye Hinson was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Janice Christensen and brother, Gerald Loschen.
