Hastings resident, Eileen Stohler, 82, passed away Monday, December 5, 2011 at her home.

Services will be Friday, December 9, 2011; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Tony Dawson officiating. Burial will be at 12:45 P.M. in Nelson Cemetery, Nelson, Nebraska. There will be no visitation; book signing will be Thursday, December 8, 2011; 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. and one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Mary Lanning Hospice.

Eileen was born July 1, 1929 in Nelson, Nebraska to John Henry & Nora (Bruce) Williams. She married Leo Alvin Stohler; he preceded her in death on July 14, 2006. Eileen worked in the housekeeping department for Good Samaritan Village in Hastings for 42 years.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo Alvin Stohler; one brother; three sisters; and one great-great-grandson.
