Trumbull resident, Janice L. Mankin, 69, of 380 Road 324, died Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Tiffany Square, Grand Island, Nebraska.

Services will be Monday, February 11, 2008; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Jack Sample officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Trumbull, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to Nebraska Multiple Sclerosis Society. Visitation will be Sunday, February 10, 2008; 1PM-9PM and Monday, February 11, 2008, 9AM until service time.

Mrs. Mankin was born May 24, 1938 in Gibbon, Nebraska to Frederick & Sylvia (Smith) Pember. She graduated from Kenesaw High School in 1956 and attended Bethany College in Oklahoma for 1 year. She moved back to the area and worked for Sears in Hastings. On January 4, 1964, she married Stanley Mankin in Gibbon, Nebraska. She was a homemaker and helped on the farm. She was very nonjudgmental of people and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Mankin was preceded in death by her parents.
