Hastings resident, Dorothy Jean (Kehn) Rader, 82, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Friday, January 28, 2011; 8:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, January 29, 2011; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, Hastings with Father Andrew Heaslip officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Friday, January 28, 2011; 3:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and 1 hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church or Alzheimer’s Association.

Dorothy was born April 1, 1928 in Hastings, Nebraska to George & Mollie (Kister) Kehn. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1946. Prior to her marriage, she worked at Lincoln Telephone Company and the Treasurer’s Office at the Adams County Courthouse. On May 1, 1957 she married Robert Rader in Hastings. He preceded her in death on February 11, 2010. She was a member of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church. Dorothy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, and will be remembered for her friendly smile.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert.
