Hastings resident, Rodney L. Ratzlaff, 54, of 212 Ringland Rd, Hastings, NE died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Mary Lanning Hospital.

Rosary will be Friday, June 13, 2008 at 7:30 P.M. at the Butler Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, June 14, 2008; 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Hastings, Nebraska with Father Michael Houlihan and Father Christopher Goodwin officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Memorials may be given to the family. Visitation will be Friday, June 13, 2008; 2 P.M.-9 P.M at the funeral home and Saturday June 14, 2008 one hour prior to mass at the church.

Rodney was born September 20, 1953 in York, Nebraska to Robert L. and Evelyn L. (Dobberstein) Ratzlaff. He graduated from York High School and was also a graduate of UNL with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. On August 15, 1975 Rodney married Patricia Ann DeJung. They moved to Hastings in 1976. He worked 25 years at Dutton Lainson Company as a data processing manager. He was also a microfilm clerk at the Adams County Register of Deeds. He was a member at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church. Rodney was preceded in death by his parents.
