Hastings resident, Donna L. Johnson, 69, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Thursday, March 31, 2011; 10:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 29, 2011; 5 P.M. to 9 P.M. and Wednesday, March 30, 2011; 9 A.M. to 9 P.M. at the funeral home. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Thursday. Memorials may be given to the family.

Donna was born May 22, 1941 near Odell, Nebraska to Mallon & Ethel (Saathoff Worlein) Ubben. She graduated from Grand Island High School in 1958. She worked at K-Mart for 27 years before retiring. She was a member of First St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hastings.

Donna L. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, Mallon Ubben and Walter & Ethel Worlein, and daughter Tammy Jo Verbeck.
