Services will be Thursday, May 12, 2011; 10:30 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church, Hastings with Pastor Paul Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in 1:30 P.M. at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, rural Webster County, Nebraska. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 11, 2011; 1:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and 1 hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to Faith Lutheran Church or Calvary Lutheran Church in Rosemont, Nebraska. Lenora was born September 16, 1917 in rural Blue Hill, Nebraska to Fred & Anna (Waterman) Krueger. She attended Trinity Lutheran School in Blue Hill, Nebraska. On April 13, 1941 she married Gerhard C. Knehans in Blue Hill; he preceded her in death on February 26, 2000. They farmed in the Guide Rock and Lawrence area. Lenora was a homemaker and a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Lenora was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerhard C. Knehans; four brothers, Elmer, Alfred, Fred, and Anton (Tony); and twin sister, Elnora Rose. Survivors include: |
