Ary resident, Marlene R. Rose, 70, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011 at her home.

There will be no services as Marlene’s wish was cremation.

Marlene was born June 25, 1941 in Beatrice, Nebraska to Morris & Nelva (Van Lanning) Highley. She married Richard Rose on August 19, 1957 in the Methodist Church in Ayr, Nebraska and started a journey of love that lasted over 54 years. They moved to California shortly after their marriage and returned to Nebraska in 1975, where Marlene was a homemaker and member of the Berean Bible Church.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; three sisters; and daughter, Teresa True.
