Alice Thompson

Hastings resident, Alice M. Thompson, 93, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Monday, July 10, 2017; 10:00 A.M. and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hastings with Father Jeremy Hazukaofficiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to the family. Visitation will be Sunday, July 9, 2017; 1:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. with family present 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Alice was born December 25, 1923, in Parkston, South Dakota to Mathew & Mary Roeder. She attended public school in Parkston, South Dakota. Alice married Dale Thompson on February 10, 1947; he preceded her in death on December 25, 2004. Alice was a housewife and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and Altar Society.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale Thompson; daughter-in-law, Valerie Thompson; and 11 sisters and brothers.
