Allan was born on November 4, 1936, in Holstein, NE, to William and Marie (Ronnekamp) Hupf. He graduated from Holstein High School in 1955. Allan married Azule Markwardt on August 4, 1962, and together they raised two children.
Allan found great joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved playing cards with family and to check on the crops and enjoying the changing seasons. He never missed an opportunity to spend time with family, whose company he cherished above all else.
A visit to the casino was always a favorite pastime, bringing excitement, laughter, and many memorable stories. Allan was also a devoted fan of the St. Cecilia Hawks and Hawkettes, faithfully following their teams and enthusiastically cheering them on through the years.
