Alvene Borwege

Alvene Borwege, 96, of Village Green, Good Samaritan Village, Hastings, Nebraska, died Monday, November 24, 2003 at her home.

Services will be Wednesday, November 26, 2003; 2:00 P.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Blue Hill, Nebraska with Rev. Neal Anthony officiating. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery, Blue Hill, Nebraska.

Alvene Borwege was born April 21, 1907 at the family farm in Webster County, south of Rosemont, Nebraska to Fred & Louise (Kopf) Hartman. She attended Rosemont School and married Vernon Borwege on September 27, 1931 and he preceded her in death on July 18, 1988. They farmed until July 1976 in the Bladen, Nebraska area before moving to Hastings, Nebraska. She was a life long area resident and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Blue Hill, Nebraska.

Alvene Borwege was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Vernon, two sisters and three brothers.
