Anthony Epp

Hastings resident Anthony Fredrick Epp, 27, was taken to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 14, 2018, as a result of a motor vehicle/pedestrian accident.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 19, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Chaplain John Mueller officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hastings. Memorials may be given to the family. Visitation is 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. with family present 5-7 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Anthony was born on January 5, 1991, in Omaha, NE to Bryan & Brenda (Scribner) Epp. He was baptized on December 8, 1991, by Rev. Bill Westman at All Saints Chapel – Good Samaritan Village in Hastings, NE. Anthony graduated from Hastings High School in 2009.

Anthony began his employment career at Allen’s Superstore in Hastings. Some of the other companies he worked for include Hastings Aluminum Castings, Hastings Pipe, Thermo-King, Hornaday, and most recently for several years at Mid-America Pump & Supply. Anthony was very proud of being a machinist for Mid-America.

Anthony spent much of his short life sacrificing to others so they would be happy and was always wanting to bring joy to others or help them if he could. He never was a stranger to anyone. Anthony had an infectious joy in him that touched all those around him. He was a man of immeasurable faith and instilled God’s word in all whom he knew.

Anthony was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bobby Lee Scribner and aunt, Rhonda Watson.
