Ardyce Ernst

Hastings resident, Ardyce M. Ernst, 83, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Village Green, Hastings, Nebraska, surrounded by her family.

Services will be Saturday, January 30, 2016; 10:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Dale Phillips officiating. Burial will be Saturday, January 30, 2016; 1:30 P.M. in Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Friday, January 29, 2016; 2:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Ardyce was born October 20, 1932 in Inland, Nebraska to George & Martha (Stamer) Goldenstein. She graduated from Hastings High School. Ardyce married L. Keith Ernst on October 19, 1952 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Glenvil; he preceded her in death on October 29, 2002. She worked as a technician for Hastings Regional Center for 32 years and was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hastings.

Ardyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband, L. Keith Ernst; one brother, Orlo Goldenstein; five grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; and sister-in-law, Barb Goldenstein.
