Ardyce M. Zubrod

Lincoln resident Ardyce M. Zubrod, 67, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Bryan Medical Center West, Lincoln, NE.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 15 and Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Roseland with Father Nathan Hall officiating. Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery in Assumption. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at Butler Volland Funeral Home in Hastings and 5:30-7 p.m., July 15, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Roseland. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to the Ardyce M. Zubrod Memorial Fund to be established at a later date. Ardyce was born on October 22, 1957, in Hastings, NE, to Leonard and Geraldine (Loskill) Parr, Ardyce lived a life rooted in love, family, and faith.

She graduated from Roseland High School in 1976 and went on to attend Joseph’s College of Beauty in Hastings. On April 30, 1977, she married the love of her life, Brian Zubrod, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Roseland — a parish that remained central to her life.

Ardyce worked in billing at Hastings Vision Clinic, where her kindness and steady presence made a lasting impact on coworkers and patients alike. She was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar Society, giving generously of her time and talents.

She found joy in sewing, a craft she practiced with love and skill, and even greater joy in time spent with her family. Her warmth, sense of humor, and unwavering support will be deeply missed.

Ardyce was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lynn Parr; and niece, Stacie Evans.
