Beatrice Mulford

Beatrice "Bea" Eileen Mulford, age 85 of Kenesaw passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the Haven Home of Kenesaw.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Tom Murray officiating. Private family burial will be at a later date. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to Kola, Inc. c/o Arwin Mulford, PO Box 128, Kenesaw, Nebraska 68956.

Bea was a member of the Rosebud Indian Reservation and was born at home near Winner, South Dakota to David & Amy (Moran) Colombe. She attended and graduated from St. Francis Mission in St. Francis, South Dakota. Bea married Arwin "Vern" Mulford in Wilbur, Nebraska on May 9, 1953. She was a homemaker, worked for Cuprem, Inc. in Kenesaw, Nebraska, and was co-founder of Kola, Inc. Bea was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hastings and volunteered many hours at the church. She is lovingly remembered as a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents, Amy and David Colombe; brothers Irvin, David, Fred and Lester; and sisters Myrtle "Val", Ruby, Leona and Amy.
