Berdina Strayer

Hastings resident, Berdina E. Strayer, 91, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Haven Home, Kenesaw, Nebraska.

Book signing will be Thursday, May 15, 2014; 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. with family present at Butler Volland Funeral Home. Family services and burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.

Berdina was born July 8, 1922 in Hastings, Nebraska to Walter & Marguerite E. (Gass) Wieck. She married C. Wayne Strayer on July 24, 1944; he preceded her in death on July 8, 1981. Berdina was a homemaker, member of First Presbyterian Church, and past member of PEO Chapter GK.

Berdina was preceded in death by her parents; husband, C. Wayne Strayer; brother, Robert Wieck, Sr.; and sister, LeNie Wilson.
