Bernal L. "Bernie" Bonifas

Roseland resident Bernal L. “Bernie” Bonifas, 70, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at his home.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, August 17, and Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 18, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Roseland with Father Brian Wirth officiating. Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery in Assumption. Visitation will be Noon-4 p.m. Sunday, August 17, at the funeral home in Hastings and 6-7 p.m. with the family present at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Roseland. Memorials may be given to the Bernie Bonifas Memorial Fund to be established at a later date. The service will be live-streamed on Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home’s website.
