Glenvil resident Bonnie Rae Davis, 76, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at College View Assisted Living in Hastings, Nebraska.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2026, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Glenvil, Nebraska, with Pastor Jonathan Jehorek officiating. Burial will be at Glenvil Cemetery, Glenvil, NE. Visitation will be Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with family present from 5-6 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the Glenvil Legion Women’s Auxiliary or Immanuel Lutheran Church. The service will be recorded and uploaded to Bonnie’s obituary on Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home’s website.
Bonnie Davis was born on February 27, 1950, in California to Walter and Marjorie (Westerman) Ocker. She graduated from Sandy Creek High School and was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Glenvil. She was also a dedicated member of the Glenvil Legion Women’s Auxiliary.
Bonnie married Michael Davis on June 19, 1970. Together, they built a life centered around family, farming, and their home. Bonnie was a dedicated farm wife and homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family.
Bonnie had a love for flowers and gardening and enjoyed spending time tending to her plants. She also enjoyed having coffee with her friends. Above all, Bonnie treasured her family and especially loved taking care of and spending time with her grandchildren.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Gary and Scott Davis; granddaughter, Lennon Davis; and sister, Lori Crase.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Michael Davis of Glenvil, NE; sister, Roxy Goings of Eagle, NE; grandchildren & spouses, Andrew & Jaci Davis of Clay Center, NE, Amanda & Brad Cunningham of Hastings, NE, Chase Davis & fiancé, Brooke of Glenvil, NE, Caedyn Davis of Glenvil, NE Jorie Goings of Eagle, NE, Jensen Goings of Eagle, NE, and Grayson Goings of Eagle, NE; 5 great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Marcia Davis of Glenvil, NE; sister, Norene Perkins of Alabama; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
