Brenda Johnson

Hastings resident, Brenda Marie Johnson, 43, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Thursday, July 30, 2015; 6:30 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 31, 2015; 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Roseland. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Brenda was born December 1, 1971 in Hastings, Nebraska to Jerry L. & Sheila M. (Schifferns) Williamson. She graduated from Creighton School of Nursing in 2000 with a degree in nursing. Although she worked at various facilities as a registered nurse, her passion was working with Alzheimer's patients and the elderly. Brenda was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. She was a great mom and took pride in being a nurse and helping people.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
