Burgess II

Former Hastings resident, Burgess 'Butch' W. Hopper II, 62, of Lincoln, Nebraska, died Friday, December 24, 2004 at Tekamah Health & Rehabilitation in Tekamah, Nebraska.

Services will be Friday, December 31, 2004; 11:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel, Hastings, Nebraska with Pastor Raymond J. Thiel officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Butch was born July 22, 1942 in Fremont, Nebraska to Burgess W. & Josephine B. (Davidson) Hopper. He graduated from Hastings Senior High School in 1960 and attended Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Nebraska. Before his illness, he was an insurance agent.

Butch was preceded in death by his parents, his uncle, Charles Davidson, and brother-in-law, Robert E. Harris.
