Catherine Lonnquist

Hastings resident Catherine M. Lonnquist, 70, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019, at her home.

Memorial service is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Father Thomas Brouillette officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to St. Cecilia Catholic Church.

Catherine was born January 22, 1949, in Hastings, NE to Francis Herman Jr. & Alice (Berquist) Roth. She married Tom Lonnquist after graduating from college and divorced a year later. Catherine taught on an Indian reservation for one year and worked as a financial manager for Foote & Beck. She had moved away from Hastings but returned the past few years. Catherine was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church and was involved with the choir.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents.
