Charles Wallin

Hastings resident Charles "Chuck" Wallin, 70, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, at Omaha Veterans Medical Center, Omaha, NE.

Memorial Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Joe Wallin officiating. Private family burial with military rites by Hastings Veterans Organizations will be in Parkview Cemetery in Hastings at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Chuck was born July 28, 1947 in Tilden, NE to John & Beulah (Haave) Wallin. Chuck served in the U.S. Army from May 13, 1968 to June 27, 1969. Chuck married Rosa Borrell on March 15, 1974. He was employed as an ironworker.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wendell Wallin; sisters-in-law, Mae Wallin and Carol Wallin.
