Christine A. Stamper

Hastings resident Christine A. Stamper, 73, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Mary Lanning Health Care.

Memorial Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings. Burial will be at the Blue Valley Cemetery in Ayr, NE. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. The family requests casual dress. Christine was born January 22, 1953, to Fred and Leona (Tucker) Partridge. She graduated from Chadron High School and then attended Chadron State College.

Christine married Bob Stamper on September 9, 1974. They shared 35 years of marriage before Bob's passing. Their marriage was built on love, dedication, and a deep commitment to family.

Throughout her working life, Christine enjoyed serving her community in a variety of roles. She worked as a paraeducator for ESU #9 and was also employed by Hastings Public Schools Painting Service, the Regional Center, and ran the City Café in Glenvil, Nebraska for several years. She was known as a hardworking, dependable, and caring person who touched the lives of many through her kindness and dedication.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, and stepson, Clyde Stamper.
