Cody Reutter

Blue Hill resident Cody A. Reutter, 29, passed away Friday, July 26, 2019, due to a fishing accident.

Services are 3 p.m. Friday, August 2, at First St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 501 North Burlington Avenue, in Hastings with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. The family requests casual attire be worn to the service. Private family burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Book signing will be 1-7 p.m. Thursday with family present 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Cody A. Reutter Memorial Fund.

Cody was born February 4, 1990, in Hastings, NE to Kenneth Reutter & Barbara Beyke. He graduated from Adams Central High School in 2008. Cody married Crissy Beurskens on May 12, 2017. He worked for “Branching Out” Tree Service.

Cody enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors, smoking and grilling, watching Packer football, golfing, spending time with his kids, playing vintage video games, and working on his ’64 Grand Prix.

Cody was preceded in death by his Grandpa Reutter, Grandpa Beyke, and parents-in-law.
