Dale Alberts

Former Doniphan resident, Dale L. Alberts, 90, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Humane Society. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Dale was born February 10, 1925 in Hastings, Nebraska to Eddie & Mary (Hilbers) Alberts. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1943 and the University of Nebraska in 1950. Dale served in the U.S. Navy Air Corps between 1943 - 1947. In 1947, he married Alberta "Ann" Thurber in Chicago; she preceded him in death in 2006. Dale was employed by J.M. McDonald Company for 30 years and Schwesers for five years. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Doniphan.
