Daniel Hedlund

Orleans resident, Daniel T. Hedlund, 42, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Harlan County Hospital, Alma, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Sunday, February 22, 2009; 5:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, February 23, 2009; 11:00 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.

Mr. Hedlund was born March 7, 1966 to Verdus & Sodona (Boesch) Hedlund in Hastings, Nebraska. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1984. On August 4, 2003, he married Tracy Knight in Hastings. He was a self employed dog trainer and had worked for Carmichael Construction as a welder. He moved to Orleans in 2003. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.

Mr. Hedlund was preceded in death by his father and two sister Debra Hultquist and Sandra Hedlund.
