David L. Brown

Hastings resident David Brown, 66, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025.

Memorial Service will be at 10:30am Monday, December 22, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Rev. Michelle Loeffelholz officiating. Burial will be at Juniata Cemetery in Juniata Nebraska where he will be reunited with his parents. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to Butler Volland Chapel.

David was born January 29, 1959, to Lawrence & Trionne (Gangwish) Brown in Hastings, Nebraska. He graduated from Roseland High School in 1977. He worked at Paperwork’s Packaging as a Lead pressman in Hastings for 40 years.

Dave loved family vacation trips and cherished the time spent making memories with those he loved most. Dave loved his Boston terrier dogs and took great joy in their companionship. Dave’s great laugh and easy smile will always be remembered. Dave would love to share “one more” with you at his favorite watering hole at Wanda’s.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Peggy Crawford.
