Dian (Gangwish) Webb, 93, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Tiffany Square in Grand Island, Nebraska.
Services will be on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Clay Center Christian Church in Clay Center, Nebraska, with Pastor Dale Phillips officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later time. Book Signing will be Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Butler Volland Funeral Home in Hastings, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to the family to be determined at a later date. The service will be live-streamed on Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home’s website. Dian was born March 11, 1933, in Hastings, Nebraska, to Don & Laura Karr. She graduated from Hastings High School. Dian was married to Jerry Gangwish on December 25, 1952. They had 6 children together and were married for over 30 years. Later, Dian moved to Texas and married Don Webb. They played bocce ball and enjoyed time with friends. Dian was a loving mother and wife. She was a homemaker and an excellent seamstress. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking. She loved studying her Bible alone and with others. Dian returned to Nebraska in 2018 to spend time with her children.
Dian was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Gangwish, her parents, Don and Laura Karr, 2 brothers, and twin sister Joan.
Dian is survived by her husband, Don Webb; her son, Raymond (Peggy) Gangwish, daughter, Patti (Mark) Krueger, daughter, Nancy Domeier, daughter, Peggy (Lyle) VonSpreckelsen, daughter, Julie (Gerald) Benes, son James (Shanda) Gangwish, sister Judy Rairigh, step-daughter Susan Burrows, and step-son Mark Webb, 18 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.
