Dixie Carver

Hastings resident Dixie A. Carver, 63, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.

Memorial Services are 11 a.m. Friday, December 28, at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Hastings with Pastor Dustin H. Bower officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Dixie was born November 30, 1955, in Tarkio, MO to Dale & Hermie L. (Worl) Moore. She moved to Hastings from Auburn in 1982. Dixie married Ivan Carver on February 13, 1999; he preceded her in death on January 24, 2013. Dixie ran a house cleaning service independently. Her faith was nurtured at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ where she held a membership. Her family, Malinda, Jesse, and Ashton (her first grandchild) held a special place in her heart before sharing her love with the twins, Sophie and Penelope, when they arrived.

Dixie was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ivan Carver.
