Dolores Kuhnke

Hastings resident, Dolores J. Kuhnke, 84, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Thursday, February 20, 2014; 1:30 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Rev. Dr. Lee R. Wigert officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 19, 2014; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. and prior to service at the funeral home.

Dolores was born June 22, 1929 in Grant, Nebraska to William & Hilda (Whiteley) Waltemade. She graduated from Geneva High School in 1947. Dolores married Dale Kuhnke on January 21, 1948 in Sutton, Nebraska. She worked as a CNA for Mary Lanning Healthcare for over 30 years before retiring.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Doris Barone; infant sister, Darlene; and infant grandson.
