Donald Woods

Hastings resident, Donald E. Woods, 65, of 1018 West 6th Street, died Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Perkins Pavilion.

Memorial service will be Tuesday, February 6, 2007; 1:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial at a later date. Memorial to the family at 1018 West 6th Street, Hastings, Nebraska 68901.

Mr. Woods was born January 8, 1942 in Gates, Nebraska to Forrest & Leona (Holoch) Woods. He graduated from Broken Bow High School, Broken Bow, Nebraska and attended Kearney State College, Kearney, Nebraska for 1 year. He served in the United States Navy. He married Cordie Rodriguez on July 23, 1982. He later moved from Fairfield, Nebraska to Hastings. He was a construction worker, retiring from Carmichael's Construction and attended St. Cecilia's Catholic Church.

Mr. Woods was preceded in death by his father and a sister.
