Donna Barta

Hastings resident Donna Barta, 81, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at her home.   

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Pastor Tevin Eddy and Pastor Tom Murray officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. with the family present 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 22, and one hour before the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. The service will be live-streamed on Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home’s website. Donna was born May 3, 1942, in Connellsville, PA to William Henry and Leona Mae (Smitley) Leapline. She graduated from Dunbar Township High School in Dunbar, PA in 1961. Donna married John Orvil Barta on February 8, 1964. She worked at Clark Hotel, Chubbyville, Allen’s, Econofoods, and K-Mart. Donna was a member of the Berean Bible Church in Hastings. 

 Donna was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William Leapline, Ronald Leapline, Vincent Leapline, and Timothy Leapline.
