Donna Davidson

Hastings resident, Donna Davidson, 83, passed away Friday, August 2, 2013 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Tuesday, August 6, 2013; 2:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings. Burial will be in Blue Valley Cemetery, Ayr, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society. Visitation will be Sunday, August 4, 2013; 3:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., Monday, August 5, 2013; 9:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. and prior to the service at the funeral home.

Donna was born January 15, 1930 in Elm Creek, Nebraska to Chris & Clara (Schmidt) Gerloff. She attended school in Ayr and Hastings Public Schools. Donna married Kenneth Davidson on August 31, 1950; he preceded her in death in 2000. She was a homemaker and member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, loved gardening and spending time with her family and Good Samaritan Village family.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Davidson; infant sister, Patty; sister, Barbara Green; two brothers-in-law, John Green and Vernon "Buzz" Hartman; and one great-niece, Ashley Kulwicki.
