Donna I. Shoemaker

Hastings resident Donna I. Shoemaker, 90, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024, at The Heritage of Red Cloud, NE.

As per Donna’s wishes, there will be no services. A private burial will take place at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. 

Donna was born May 14, 1934, in Colorado Springs, CO to William and Viola (Curtis) Boyce. She graduated from Colorado Springs High School and attended Business College in Grand Island. Donna worked as a secretary and served in several charitable roles with women in need of mentoring. She was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; grandson, Robbie Shoemaker-Ferrick; and siblings, Emma and Bill.
