Dorothy Cave

Dorothy L. Moorhead Cave, 89, of Perkins Pavilion, died Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Memorial graveside service and interment will be Saturday, February 15, 2003; 11:00 A.M. at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska with Pastor Sacia Vik & Rev. Neil Vik officiating. No viewing or visitation.

Dorothy Cave was born November 25, 1913 in Deweese, Nebraska to Jay & Dora (Roth) Moore. On May 12, 1933, she married Ray Moorhead and they later divorced. On May 14, 1950, she married Andrew Cave and he preceded her in death in December of 1952. They made their home in Hastings for many years. She was a homemaker and played piano for dance bands around the Hastings area for many years. She worked for the Salvation Army and was a cook for the Adams County Nursing Home. She was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Dorothy Cave was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, 1 brother, Willard Moore and a great granddaughter, Andrea Potts.
