Dorothy Milligan

Hastings resident, Dorothy M. Milligan, 78, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 25, 2011; 10:30 A.M. at Peace Chapel, Perkins Pavilion, Hastings with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 24, 2011; 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and 1 hour prior to service at Peace Chapel. Memorials may be given to the Diabetes Foundation.

Mrs. Milligan was born December 27, 1932 in Padu, Quebec, Canada to Joseph R. & Elise M. (Charett) Boucher. She graduated from Bern Knox High School in Bern, New York and attended Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon for 2 years. She married Harry B. Milligan in Baltimore, Maryland on June 21, 1958. They moved from Anchorage, Alaska to Hastings, Nebraska in 1980. She was a homemaker and former member of the Adams County Genealogical Society.

Mrs. Milligan was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, John.
