Dorothy K. Schulz, 79, of 14700 S. Hwy 281, Doniphan, Nebraska, died Thursday, May 10, 2001 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, May 15, 2001; 10:00 A.M. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Doniphan, Nebraska with Father James Meysenburg officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Dorothy K. Schulz was born December 18, 1921 in Blue Hill, Nebraska to Walter & Emma (Weigant) Goerig. She graduated from Blue Hill High School and married Ervin F. Schulz on March 9, 1940 in Red Cloud, Nebraska. He preceded her in death in January 22, 1990. They lived at Rosemont, Nebraska before moving to their farm south of Doniphan, Nebraska in 1945. She continued to live on the farm until a brief time before her death at Perkins Pavilion. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and volunteered at the Doniphan Senior Center and at Mary Lanning Hospital Auxiliary.

Dorothy K. Schulz was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ervin, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Memorial maybe given to St. Ann's Catholic Church or Doniphan Senior Center

Butler-Volland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
