Dorothy M. Stoughton, 84, of 505 Lane D, Hastings, Nebraska died Friday, January 4, 2002 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Tuesday, January 8, 2002; 10:30 A.M. at the United Methodist Church, Bladen, Nebraska with Rev. Carroll Plisek officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Bladen, Nebraska.

Dorothy M. Stoughton was born November 7, 1917 in Blue Hill, Nebraska to Julius & Anna (Koepke) Kottwitz. On November 6, 1937 she married Tommy Stoughton and he preceded her in death on February 8, 2000. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church of Bladen, Nebraska. She moved to Hastings in 1997 coming from Bladen.

Dorothy M. Stoughton was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tommy Stoughton, 4 sisters, 5 brothers and 1 grandson Todd Hoevet.
