Dorothy "Dottie" Carey

Hastings resident Dorothy “Dottie” Carey, 79, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in Kenesaw, NE.

There will be a private family committal held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a memorial be given in Dorothy’s memory to Mary Lanning Hospice c/o Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home, 1225 N. Elm Avenue, Hastings, Nebraska 68901.

Dottie was born in Lenoir, North Carolina on August 18, 1938. She married Gene Carey on August 12, 1994.

Dottie was preceded in death by her husband, Gene and daughter, Stephanie.
