Edith Perdew

Hastings resident Edith L. Perdew, 92, passed away Tuesday, April 10, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.

Private family services will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to Hastings College Foundation or Mary Lanning Hospice. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Edith was born March 23, 1926, on a farm outside of Doniphan, NE to Howard & Mary (Chaney) Marsh. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1943 and attended Hastings College. Edith married James Perdew on April 17, 1947; he preceded her in death on March 27, 1973. Edith was the administrator at Sunnyside for many years and was a member of First United Methodist Church and Lochland Country Club.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Perdew; and sister, Ruth McKee.
