Eleanor Sapp

Eleanor J. Nejezchleb Sapp, 75, of 1706 W. 8th, Hastings, Nebraska, died Saturday, June 1, 2002 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, June 4, 2002; 10:30 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. No visitation or viewing.

Eleanor J. Sapp was born May 24, 1927 in Lawrence, Nebraska to Frank & Mary (Kvasnica) Svoboda. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1945 and married Norbert Nejezchleb on July 17, 1945. They farmed in the Glenvil area until his death on March 14, 1986. She married Keith L. Sapp on July 26, 1991 and moved from Glenvil, Nebraska to Hastings, Nebraska. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and South Central Nebraska Czech Society. She had been active in the Glenvil Legion Auxiliary, bowling and enjoyed going to garage sales. During her retirement years, she had many fun part-time jobs.

Eleanor J. Sapp was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, Norbert Nejezchleb, and infant son, Wayne and a sister Erma Judy.
