Emily Wright

Hastings resident, Emily R. Wright, 94, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

There will be no services.

Emily was born March 20, 1921 in Blue Hill, Nebraska to John & Rose (Haba) Hubacek. She graduated from Blue Hill High School. Emily married Lewis Wright in December 1946; he preceded her in death in 2009. She was a nurse in the U.S. Army and worked for many years as a registered nurse at Mary Lanning Healthcare.

Emily was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis Wright; two brothers; and one sister.
