Eva Louise Moderow

Hastings resident Eva Louise Moderow, age 79, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Mary Lanning Health Care in Hastings, NE.

There will be no funeral or memorial services. As per her request, Eva will be cremated, and her ashes will be spread in Indian Cemetery in southeastern Oklahoma in the spring.

Eva is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) Moderow – Hastings, NE; her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Michael Fahey of Ord, NE; her son Robert “Rob” Dean Moderow Jr. of San Antonio, TX; five grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. Also her brother & sister-in-law, Ron and Patricia King of Grand Island, NE, and her sister and brother-in-law, Samantha and David Pryor of Quinton, OK. Eva was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Betty King of rural Quinton, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers or memorials, the family asks that people show love and kindness to their children, grandchildren, and others and extend a hand up to young persons who may need a helping hand.
