Greg was born May 20, 1955, In Zanesville (Muskingum County) Ohio, to Joseph and Mary (Augenstine) Hupp.  They divorced in 1959 and Greg moved with his mother and brother, Jeff, to a rural Zanesville setting, where they enjoyed the open spaces to “run wild”, hike the hills and ride horses with a neighbor friend.

In the summer of 1966, Greg, his mother, and Jeff moved to Grand Island, Nebraska where through marriage they joined the family of Dr. Karl M. Forster and his (7) children:   Karl, Ellen, Marilyn, Karen, Deidra, Kevin and Brian.

Greg graduated from Grand Island Senior High School in 1973 and married the love of his life, Nancy Quandt, May 21, 1977.  Greg was a beekeeper until an elbow injury caused him to change careers. Shortly after, he began his career in sales and construction, later owning and operating H&H Improvements.

Greg enjoyed spending his time with family and friends. You could always rely on Greg for a good laugh, especially when he pulled out one of his popular one-liners.   Greg was extremely handy, and he could fix just about anything.  He “tinkered” on numerous cars throughout the years, and he always hung on to the vehicles he could still work on.  He really enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together again. Greg loved God, and his family, above all else.

Greg was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; his mother Mary Forster; his father Joseph and stepmother, Jane Hupp; infant brother James David; in-laws, Ralph and Jeannie Quandt and stepbrother Kevin Forster.
