Harold Alloway

Hastings resident, Harold "Paco" W. Alloway, 73, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Thursday, May 6, 2010; 10:30 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church, Hastings with Pastor Paul Warneke officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 4, 2010; 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 5, 2010; 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. with family present from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and 1 hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran School.

Harold was born December 6, 1936 in Deshler, Nebraska to Dale & Marie (Degner) Alloway. He graduated from Chester High School. On May 14, 1960 he married Delores Novotny at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grand Island, Nebraska. He worked as a truck driver until he later retired. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters; and 4 brothers.
