Harriet Shuck

Former Hastings resident, Harriet G. Shuck, 83, passed away Monday, June 26, 2017, at Harvard Rest Haven, Harvard, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Wednesday, June 28, 2017; 7:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, June 29, 2017; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Julius Tvrdy officiating. Burial will be Thursday, June 29, 2017; 2:00 P.M. at Kearney Cemetery, Kearney. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date c/o Kenneth Shuck, Harvard Assisted Living, 400 East 7th #204, Harvard, Nebraska 68944. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 28, 2017; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Harriet was born August 25, 1933, in Boelus, Nebraska to Anton & Ellonora Wieczorek. She graduated from Boelus High School. Harriet married Kenneth Vance Shuck on May 21, 1951, in Rockville, Nebraska. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Harvard.

Harriet was preceded in death by her parents; son, Anton M. Shuck; one brother; and one sister.
