Helen Holquist

Hastings resident, Helen E. Holquist, 93, passed away, Friday, October 11, 2013 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Society - Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Memorial service will be Tuesday, October 15, 2013; 10:00 A.M. at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home in Omaha, Nebraska with Pastor Jim Killough officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the chapel service at Westlawn - Hillcrest Funeral Home. Burial will be at Westlawn Hillcrest Memorial Park in Omaha, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to Good Samaritan Society - Hastings Village or Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Omaha.

Helen was born February 20, 1920 in Omaha, Nebraska to Karl & Maria (Stroberg) Linden. She graduated from Omaha Technical High School, Omaha, Nebraska. Helen married Robert W. Holquist on March 25, 1943 at Augustana Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska; he preceded her in death on April 7, 1999. Helen was a member of and very active in Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert W. Holquist; son, Robert L. Holquist; and one sister, Esther Pearson.
